Lead Mechanical and Product Design Engineer
I led the hardware development for Trident, the first accessible underwater drone from concept to production. I was responsible for all design from UX and ID to mechanical components and electromechanical systems.
I co-invented and implemented numerous underwater robotics-enabling technologies (4x US Patents), while managing a transnational team and developing supply chain relationships and manufacturing in Taiwan and China.
As the first full-time hire, I helped scale OpenROV (now Sofar) from an open-source project to the world's highest volume underwater robot manufacturer.
